Step 3 - Writing a sales letter and a building a website to market your ebook.

Writing a sales letter is one of the things you have to focus the most on, you have to make sure you write in it a lot of important factors about your ebook, and it would also be a good idea to let some people review your ebook before you write your sales letter, theres many ways to get your ebook reviewed, you can give the ebook to some people, preferably that are interested in what your book is about and ask them to write a review about it... it's important that in your Promotional Website you include the following:

-What your ebook is about.
-Who you are, your experience on the subject the ebook is about.
-What benefits and/or knowledge will be obtained.
-Reviews and/or Testimonials.
-If possible a time frame in which the person can achieve what the ebook teaches.
-A FAQ(Frequently Asked Questions) section.
-If you have bonuses to offer with it, it adds value.
-Interesting pictures, to make it lively, you can do it without pictures but they certainly help, A LOT.

You can pay somebody to build your sales letter website, but on reality this is a really simple process, nowadays if you know how to use word processing software then there is surely a software for making a website out there for you, like Microsoft FrontPage for instance, which is really simple to use, and it is practically the same as using Microsoft Word... there are free website builders with the same interface that you can find on DownLoad.com and you can get free templates, some real professional looking in the web.

Step 4 - Promoting and recruiting affiliates to promote your ebook.

You surely have heard of ClickBank, the largest digital market place, hence the best place to go to if you want to recruit affiliates to promote your ebook, and the process is pretty much automated.

There is a fee, I believe it around $45 US dollars to become a "Publisher" for clickbank and you have to aggree to let them sell your product, by them, meaning their crew of affiliates, and you have to keep your promotional website up of course, after you have published your ebook on clickbank, it will be posted for affiliates to see and pick up the linking code to start selling it for you, in essence, it is as simple as that, your ebook has to be interesting and provide value to the buyer and a good incentive to the seller though, and this process will be a success.

To go on about promoting the ebook yourself, you can go with numerous advertising programs out there such as Google, Yahoo and MSN with their Pay Per Click programs... and there is numerous other ways to advertise your ebook out there, you can start a blog posting about the things that relate to the ebook and feature it there also but this process of advertising will not bring results as quick as Pay Per Click advertising.

So there you have it, in essence, that's how you put together an ebook and promote it, the first one is always the toughest one, but after you go through the process it starts getting a whole lot easier.
