Building Your Own E-Book and Promoting it part 1 of 2

As you may already know one of the most profitable universal ways to make money under any cirscumstance is to create your own product, whether it is offline or online, you have complete control over everything that has to do with it, you set the price, marketing methods, if you hire people to resell it you decide the comission and even better if your product is good and worth the money you build a name for yourself which makes it easier to drop another product and market it.

In this case I want to talk about building your own e-book as a way to make money online and build residual income, because it is really cost effective and marketing it, which I will cover later in the article, is a piece of cake by recruiting affiliate marketers to promote the e-book and this process is going to be automated with ClickBank, the most important thing here and the one thing you need to focus on, is merely writing the book, I say merely because the book should be about something you know which makes the process somewhat easy.

Writing an ebook is just like writing a regular book, and it is time consuming, but unlike a regular book, selling a ebook is much more easier due to the fact that the ebook is readily downloadable to the buyer. Another thing on the plus side of ebooks is you can write about anything, meaning you don't have to write a 300 page story in order for your ebook to be successful and a great seller.

Your ebook doesn't have to be a 300 page story, in fact, many ebooks about certain kind of information can be 25 pages and even less, for instance, a friend of mine got a dog training ebook not long ago, he really found it interesting and the e-book was only 23 pages long.

The Process

In essence the process is real simple, provided you have something to write about, saving money, building a certain kind of business(carpet cleaning for instance) dog training, how to learn to play an instrument, cooking recipes, inspirational thoughts... there is thousands of topics out there, one of them might be in your area of expertise or interest, and you can certainly write about it and make an ebook about it.

Step 1 - Write Your Content.


The first thing you have to do is write your ebook which you can do in your word processing software, commonly WordPad or Microsoft Word if you are a Windows user, but anyways if you don't have a word processing software, you can download AbiWord, it is free, and you can download it for the MAC OS and also Linux, go to the AbiWord and grab a free copy clicking ->Here<-

Step 2 - Convert your content to PDF format to prevent it from being copy written

After you write your content, you have to turn it into a professional piece of work, e-books come in a PDF format usually, that is to protect the content from being copy written...
